The question on the table: Do Black Men Love Black women: Well….here are some things to think about!

You are EVERYTHING to us

• You are our mothers
• You are our sisters
• You are our aunts
• You are our cousins
• You are our daughters
• You are our wives and partners

We came up together

• We went to the same schools
• Grew up in the same neighborhoods
• Went to the same churches
• Listen to the same music
• We are part of the same familes

We are everything you are

• Same beautiful melanin skin
• Same exotic quality & build
• Same mis-understood “attitude” (“sassy” from you and “arrogant cool” from us)
• Same strength of character to overcome obstacles few others are presented with

We share the same struggles

• We are copied by others and still not appreciated (we ARE the culture)
• We are feared & hated by some
• We are both de-humanized for others benefit
• We are BOTH unheard and unprotected
• Our collective true history is still WILLFULLY untold

We DO feel your pain

• We watched our mothers, grandmothers, sisters and aunts suffer needless and senseless pain
• We watched our sisters die
• We were made to feel helpess to defend you when we were young and older and stronger men who we could not defeat took advantage of and hurt you
• We were made to feel helpless to help you when society tore you down and made you the scapegoat for everything
• We were made to watch as you had to succumb to the wishes of the patriarchy just so WE could survive and eat

So the answer to the question is YES! We do and…….

• We want to and WILL protect you and be your shield
• We want you to be the one you come to when you need something
• We want to and DO take care of OUR children
• We want to give you the world and WE want to place the crown you deserve on your head
• We need you because men are only as powerful as the faith their women have in them. Men are built to be needed and if YOU do not need us or believe in us, what purpose to we have?
• We need you because YOU are the only ones who have any chance of “getting” us completely
• We need you because without YOU, we do not exist

• Do you love us?
• Who are we to YOU?

Understand that however, you answer that: We STILL love you for everything you are!
