My people: We are being trained to lose our minds!

This post is inspired by all the BS I keep hearing.

It seems to me that through memes and some experts, we are teaching (by WE I mean all these meme artists and “experts”):

• Black Men to expect submission and servitude without teaching them the accountability and responsibility of what being a leader and head of household really means
• Black Women to expect to be pampered and taken care of without teaching them the accountability and understanding of the importance of what empowering their men means

Layer on the distrust and general hostility we are being groomed to have for each other and it is a poisonous and snake infested well and it needs to stop!

We need to abandon this meme & “expert” culture out there. It is literally destroying our community and families. Too many folks commenting on and making themselves experts in stuff they don’t know about and should not be given a microphone to teach others because most of them haven’t studied anything.

They are basically channeling their own pain and selling it as the TRUTH! And these people get rewarded with blue checkmarks and millions of devout and dedicated followers!

It is all “expectation” and no “accountability” that our young people are learning. The “generation curse” is doomed to repeat itself unless we interrupt it!

• To young brothers: NO! All the black women of your generation are not trying to dominate you and take your manhood. LOTS of them are LOOKING for that in YOU! (Are you providing this?)
• To young sisters: NO! All the black men of your generation are NOT angry abusive thugs trying to abuse, abandon, disrespect you and trash your femininity. Many are looking to build with you and would protect you if you let them! (Will you let them be the men they want to be?)

I do not say I am 100% right, I am stating my observations for purpose of discussion. If this generates a few meaningful discussions that make a difference, I would have fulfilled my intention with this post.

My point: Talk to each other instead of having bomb throwing sessions with the weapons the meme artists and experts are giving you. Leave those weapons at the door.

Brother and Sisters: I bet you think those weapons make you safe. I say those weapons actually put you and what you really want more at risk!
